Lethargic presidency: Buhari needs help, understanding says spokesman

Despite President Muhammadu Buhari’s inability to appoint ministers’ about 30 days after he took office,  Presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu is insisting that he ” needs understanding and help”

Even though  Shehu maintained that his boss met an empty treasury, he could not empirically explain why the government has set up a committee headed by VP Yemi Osinbajo to share what Nigeria has in its Excess Crude Account.

A former Deputy Chairman of the National Planning Commission (NPC) Dr. Abubakar Olanrewaju Sulaiman, has stated that Buhari lied for claiming that he inherited an ‘empty treasury’ from the immediate past administration.
