150 Passengers Escape Death As IRS Aircraft Collide With Truck

by Our Reporter

About 150 air passengers narrowly escape death on Wednesday morning after an IRS aircraft collided with a truck minutes after it began taxiing to take off at the new terminal of the Murtala Muhammed local  Airport (MMA2).

The Lagos – Abuja – Kano bound Aircraft which was filled to capacity ran its wing into the stationery vehicle causing passengers on board to panic.

The  aircraft lost a chunk of its right wing even as the pilot had to make an emergency u-turn to the terminal building.

Furious passengers who largely blamed the pilots and other ground officials for the ‘careless accident’ remained stranded after disembarking from the damaged plane.

Some of the passengers who had obviously missed their appointment became very furious as none of the IRS officials spoke to them on the next flight to take them to Abuja.
