2023: Atiku will record landslide victory- South East PDP stakeholders

Stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the South East zone, have predicted a landslide victory for the party’s presidential flag bearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, at the February 25 presidential poll in the five states of the zone.
The stakeholders who spoke during a strategic meeting at the country home of Senator Theodore Orji, in Umuahia, pledged to mobilize voters in the zone for the Atiku/ Okowa ticket.
They described Atiku as  as a friend and lover of Ndigbo who must be supported to emerge president in 2023.
Speaking at the occasion, Senator Orji ,who is the South East coordinator of the Atiku/ Okowa presidential campaign council, explained that the South East zone had always been a PDP stronghold and assured that the zone will vote massively for PDP candidates at the elections.
Orji, who is a former governor of Abia state, further stated that based on Atiku’s track record and capacity to unify the country, he stands the best chance to record landslide victory at the poll.
He assured that the South East would not be relegated when Atiku emerges presidency.
He said; “Atiku will win landslide in the South East zone. The South East will vote massively for all PDP candidates at the elections. Based on Atiku’s track record particularly when he was vice president, he stands the best chance to unify the country. Atiku is a friend of Ndigbo. The South East zone will not be relegated when Atiku becomes President.”
On his part, Acting chairman, PDP Board of Trustees ( BOT), Chief Adolphus Wabara, said that Atiku has all it takes to solve Nigeria’s political and economic problems.
Also speaking, Abia state Deputy Governor and Chairman of Atiku/Okowa presidential campaign council in the state, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu, pledged the commitment of the team to deliver Atiku in the State.
The Deputy Governor urged Abia people to troop out en mass for Atiku’s proposed visit on February 9 for Abia mega rally.
Other stakeholders from the South East zone who attended the meeting include PDP presidential aspirant, Mazi Sam Ohuabunwa; Chief Dan Ulasi; Dr. Eme Okoro, among others.
