As traditional with Boko Haram, the militant sect earlier today bombed three churches in the Zaria area of Kaduna state.
The churches which were rocked by huge explosions during Sunday services are the ECWA Good news church, Wusasa, Christ the King’s Catholic Church, in Gorin Gora and another catholic church in the area.
Pointblanknews.com learnt that no fewer than seven people were killed with scores injured.
The attacks triggered reprisal attacks by Christian youths who blocked the Sabon Tasha road, dragged out those assumed to be Muslims, and attacked them.
NEMA confirmed several casualties from such reprisal attacks.
Meanwhile, a dusk to dawn curfew has been imposed in Kaduan, while most areas have huge police and military presence.
