Credible sources have confirmed to Pointblanknews.com that former
Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) and Afenifere chieftain,
Chief Olu Falae, has been released.
It is not immediately known if the N90million demanded by his abductors
was paid.
A family source who does not want to be named because he is not authorized
to speak to the Press told Pointblanknews.com that the former SGF is has
been released and already heading to his home in Akure, Ondo State.
Falae was kidnapped last Monday, on his birthday, while inspecting his his
farm at Ilado Village in Akure North Local Government area of Ondo State.
His abductors had demanded N100million and later reduced it to N90million.
His family had also offered N2million. It was not immediately confirmed if
the N2million offered by the Falae family was accepted by the abductors
suspected to be Fulani herdsman.
