Imo Deputy Gov. Felicitates With Muslims On Ramadan Celebration

by Our Reporter

Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere, yesterday joined other
eminent
Nigerians to felicitate with the Muslim faithful as they mark this year’s
eid-el-fitr.

He congratulated them for religiously observing the ramadan fast, which he
said
afforded them the opportunity of spiritual rejuvenation and communing with
Allah
while pouring their heart desire to Him.

He therefore called on Muslim faithful to use the period to reflect on
the security
situations in the country and pray for peace to reign in Nigeria, which he
says is
the only factor that will guarantee unity in Nigeria.

Prince Madumere further observed that the event calls for sober reflection
especially as it concerns the wanton blood letting in the land and appeal
to Muslim
faithful to also remember the families of the victims of insurgency in
their prayers
while praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
