PDP Applauds Gov. Lamido Over Performance In Jigawa

by Our Reporter
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has expressed satisfaction with the
performance of Gov. Sule Lamido of Jigawa in office.

The party’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Olisa Metuh, made the
commendation when he inspected some projects executed by the state
government in Dutse as part of the PDP project tour of states controlled
by the state.

Metuh said that the party was particularly impressed by the world-class
International Airport constructed by the state government in Dutse.

He said that the airport would boost the economy of the state, adding that
‘’PDP will show case the achievements of the Lamido-led administration.

“We are proud of Lamido’s performance and we are going to tell the world
what Lamido did in Jigawa, especially the magnificent airport.’’

The PDP spokesman also commended the state government for executing other
people-oriented projects in the areas of education, healthcare, potable
water supply, agriculture, youth and women empowerment, among others.

He urged PDP supporters in the state to rally round the PDP administration
in the state and to remain focused in order to ensure victory of the party
in 2015 election.

Responding, Lamido described PDP as the most consistent party in the last
15 years of uninterrupted democracy in Nigeria.

‘’PDP is consistent and constant throughout this period.

‘’Contrary to the claims by some people that there are crises in PDP, I
assure you that there are no crises and I will never it.

“As democrats, we shout; after shouting, we can come back to reconcile our
differences.

“I am a product of PDP, born by PDP, dignified by PDP, how can I leave the
party that is my sweat and my blood?.

“So, I can’t leave the house I built and move to a house that is not
mine.’’ (NAN)
