The FCT Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party has adopted Hon Faruk Adejoh-Audu as their sole candidate for the Office of National Publicity Secretary.
Declaring the endorsement during a courtesy call by the Faruk Adejoh Campaign Organisation on Wednesday, the Territory Chairman Alhaji Dikwo and the Secretary Hon Bako Angulu said FAA remains the best candidate among the contestants.
Addressing party members, Angulu said FCT pDP had followed the career of FAA right from when he was a political correspondent to his elevation as Chief Press Secretary to the Speaker of the House of Representatives in 1999.
He said so far none of the aspirants can match FAA’s credentials as a an experienced professional and a loyal party member who has been in the fold since 1999.
Beside Hon Angulu said all the other candidates for the position preferred to send bulk texts to FCT delegates but FAA came in person because of his regard for the FCT Chapter.
He assured that the delegates of FCT will not only vote for FAA but will go all out to campaign for his victory.
Responding FAA thanked the PDP FCT for their support. He recalled that he first registered as a member of the party in City Centre Ward in FCT in December 1998 and has remained a loyal member , never decamping at any time.
He pledged to lead the charge of the PDP against the docile ruling APC and ensure the party wins the information and image war.
