Bayelsa Police Arraign Sylva’s Aide, FAK Boss
Bayelsa State Police Command has docked Mr Tonye Okio, an aide of the immediate past governor of the state, Timipre Sylva to court over alleged conspiracy and defamation of character.
Also docked was Managing Director of FAK Engineering Company, Mr. Fakuma Ilagha.
A statement by the acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Peter Ogboi said both suspects have been remanded in prison custody following the adjournment of the case to 21st November, 2013.
Ogboi, in the statement, warned potential trouble makers to have a rethink, stressing the police would not hesitate to prosecute anybody believed to have run foul of the law.
