Kwankwaso Expresses Anger Over Alteration Of Drainage Construction Plan At Amana City

overnor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso has expressed displeasure with the construction of drainages at Amana city one for the three cities being constructed by the state government.

The governor who visited the construction site was visibly annoyed by the construction of open drainages at the housing project when the government has hitherto decided to construct only ring-type culverts drainages across the state.

Governor Kwankwaso warned that henceforth, government will sanction any contractor that violates agreed contractual terms, because the administration in serious about proficient service delivery.

He, therefore, directed that contractor handling the Amana city project to put slabs across all the drainages in the city so that they will not be filled with sand.

The governor then visited Kwankwasiyya city where he inspected construction of the Governor’s Lodge before proceeding to inspect
drainages near Kano city bypass flyover, along Zaria road.

Earlier on, Governor Kwankwaso inspected the Kofar Nassarwa flyover project where he expressed satisfaction with the pace of work. He charged the contractor to sustain the tempo to ensure completion on schedule.
