platform of the People Democratic Party, PDP, Comr. Daniel Ovwigho Idonor
has vowed to transform the constituency using legislative instrument at
the National Assembly if given the mandate to represent the area in 2015.
He noted that he will bring his wealth of experience as a foremost media
practitioner in the country to bare inthe process of his
representation.The Aso Rock Villa, Abuja based journalist and media
consultant, gave this assurance when he paid a consultation visit to the
local government and ward exco members in the Udu, Ughelli North and
Ughelli South recently at their respective secretariats.
According to him, his three cardinal agenda have been carefully prepared
to take care of human empowerment in general and the youths’potentials in
particular, while fostering infrastructural development and
exploring-exploiting the natural endowment of the area as well as
maximizing its usefulness to the benefit of the people
underrepresentation.
The aspirant who said he already knows the in and out of the government
procedures from president’s office to the national assembly said, he would
engage in active legislative proceedings that would be beneficial to the
entire federation and as well attract rare dividends of democracy to the
area through the web of connections he already established in his over ten
years working experience in the office of the president of the federal
republic.
He therefore solicited the support of party faithfuls to enable him secure
the PDP ticket to contest the general election as he would not fail the
party at any time.
Responding, the Ughelli South Chairman, Chief Francis Aguonigho; Ughelli
North chairman, Chief Shedrack Imoniero and their Udu counterpart
expressed delight separately at the show of interest, enthusiasm and the
zest by the aspirant to represent the constituency at the Federal House of
Representatives.
They noted that, the constituency needs a man who has detail knowledge of the
national assembly and whose connection cuts across various arms of
governmental the federal just as he (Idonor) fits in to represent the
people and not a naive who would have to learn the act when he gets there.
