entreaties, security operatives allowed the Speaker entry into the
Assembly complex but denied other lawmakers.
The lawmakers who protested the actions of the security operatives decided
to scale the fence. Some sustained various degrees of injuries. The
actions of the lawmakers prompted security operatives to shoot tear gas
canisters and then cordoned the area.
The speaker’s official car was detained but after his entry into the outer
space of the complex.
