A heartbroken Femi Soneye announces the death of his mother

It is with great sadness that we have to announce that my dear mother
Gbemisola Grace Soneye nee Olawale passed away peacefully at the St
Nicholas Hospital in Lagos late last night the 1st of December, 2015.

She died of complications from Colon Cancer following a procedure to
alleviate the problem.

My mother was a wonderful, warm and loving person. She loved us and our
children intensely.

She matched an unlifting sense of humor with a genuine ability to listen
and connect, traits that made everyone around her know they mattered.

She died at the age of 63.

Burial arrangements would be announced soon.

She is survived by Femi Soneye, son, and Funmi Soneye-Odebode, Daughter.
