Abia House Sacks Speaker, Elects Njoku

The speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Martin Azubuike has been
removed. He has been swiftly replaced by the member representing Osisioma
Ngwa North,Kennedy Njoku.
It was gathered that the idea to remove the speaker, which was said to
have received the blessings of top government officials and some
chieftains of the ruling party in the state was in line with a
pre-election agreement.
