The police personnel include those with the Police Mobile Force (PMF), Special Protection Unite (SPU), Counter-Terrorism Unit (CTU) and conventional police operatives.
The order was contained in a letter to the DIG (Operations), dated November 4, 2020, and signed by the Principal Staff Officer, DSP Idowu Owobukwe.
On the list of 60, are a former Aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode; a former SGF, Baba David Lawal, Senator Magnus Abe, Chief Emeka Offor, Senator Tokunboh Afikuyomi, all Sheikhs and Bishops, Bashir Yuguda, Prince Ukachukwu, Senator Boroface Ajayi, Prince Yahaya Audu, Senator Bashir Mohammed, Ex NEMA DG, Mustapha Maihaj and a former Environment minister, Suleiman Hassan.
Other on the list are, Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chief Duru Mike Ejiogu, Chief Remichrist Nwagbo, Captain Ibrahm Mshelia, Hon. Asara Asara, Chief (Dr) Uche, Prophet Omale Emmanuel, Ibrahim Waya, Hon. Abiola Sidna Peller, Hon. Chris Giwa and chief Godwin Ekpo.
The unentitled Nigerians using police officers as security detail also include, Chief Edozie Madu, Prince Olaide MusibauAkinremi, Hon. Onyeche Blessing, Hon. Thomas, Hon. Chukwuebuka Onuorah, David Adesanya, Hon. Joel Onowakpo, Chief Goddy Ogbaja and Amen Rochas.
The corporate organizations are Christ Embassy, Think Nigeria First Initiative, Eddinho Nigeria Limited, Nuel Ojei Holdings, Oriental Energy Resources, Satini Nig. Ltd, Ocean Marine Nig. Ltd, RCC Nig. Ltd, Association of Indigenous Contractors, ECWA Academy and BDA Group Ltd.

According to the letter this was as a result ‘ of continued use of police personnel by those listed in spite of an extant directive to withdraw the personnel’.
