FG Raises the alarm over threat of attack on nation’s airport

Arising from the sustained attacks on some national institutions by organised militants and insurgents, the Federal Government has raised   the alarm over threat of possible attack on nation’s airport.

In a memo from the ministry of Interior directed to the Commandant General, Nigeria Security & Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, the Minister, Rauf Aregbesola has directed the Commandant to liaise/partner with all Airports Management nationwide and other stakeholders to upgrade the existing security measures around the Nation’s Airports in the interim, to prevent such threats.

The memo signed by a director (Joint Services) P. 0. Egbodo for the minister which copy Pointblank News obtained a copy also demanded an immediate action be taking to ensure no airport comes under the attack of the bandits.
