In what appears to be an attempt to gag parents and students from protesting against the exorbitant increase in tuition fee, the management of the Kaduna state University has asked parents to sign an undertaking that their wards will not join any protest against the institution.
The Parents in the undertaking were asked to agree that their wards will be expelled from the university should they join any protest against increase in tuition.
Pointblanknews.com reports that the state government had in April increased the tuition fees at Kaduna State University (KASU) from the range of N24,000 and N26,000 to N150,000.
