Boko Haram Attacks Anti-Robbery Squad HQTRS in Abuja …Free kingpins

Some armed men, believed to be members of the Boko Haram, sect have  attacked the headquarters of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad headquarters in Abuja in the early hours of Monday.

This attack cam few days after the Joint Task Force (JTF), declared 19 top commanders of the sect wanted. A N50 million bounty was placed on  front man, Abubakar Shekau.

The SARS HQ is one of the places boko haram suspects are normally held when transferred to Abuja.
When contacted, FCT Police Commissioner Aderenle Shinaba assured that he will soon brief the press about the details of the attack.

However, unconfirmed sources claim a number of detainees were released during the attack.

The detention center used by the Nigerian police to hold high level violent criminals was attacked in a brazen manner by the attackers from the Boko Haram sect. The center reportedly holds some senior commanders of Boko Haram including the wife of the Kabiru Sokoto, the Christmas day Catholic church bomber in Suleja, Niger State.
