Abia Govt Threatens To Expose Ex-Commissioner

by Our Reporter

Abia state government says it will expose the fraud perpetrated by one Mr. Emeka Okafor, a former commissioner and now state Chairman of the PPA should he continues his blackmail tactics against the Government.

The Government said while the former Commissioner was sacked because of controversies surrounding his academic qualifications, he hardly made any meaningful contribution while he served as a member of the State Executive Council.

In a statement by the chief press secretary to Abia governor, Ugochukwu Emezue said that Okafor’s attempt to rubbish the image of the state government all in the bid to please his pay master will be an attempt in futility.

Mr. Emezue warned the former commissioner to be careful or he will be exposed  by the administration over his sordid past which is centered on fraud.

The chief press secretary hinted that it is very disheartening to see Okafor  who hardly contributed to Exco deliberations while he lasted as a commissioner now trying to play to the gallery.

The governor’s spokesman revealed that it it is also quite surprising that the same Okafor who will call the governor on phone at night to beg him  will turn out in the day to look for cheap popularity.

He therefore cautioned the former commissioner whose academic qualificationis a subject of controversy to focus on his dead party meant for deadwoods.
