FORMER military president, General Ibrahim Babangida (IBB), on Tuesday said there was no cause for alarm over his health.
Babangida who doused speculation that he was in a critical state, said he would be back to the country soon.
General Babangida, who spoke with newsmen over the telephone at the residence of the Niger State governor, Dr Babangia Aliyu, in Tunga, Minna, when General Abdulsalami Abubakar paid the governor a Sallah homage, said, “I will be back very soon.”
Speaking from Germany through General Abubakar’s mobile telephone, he said “I miss all of you. I wish you all Barka de Sallah.
“I am better now and I will be back in a few days time.
“I thank Nigerians for their prayers and well wishes. Insha Allah, I will be back to Nigeria very soon.”
The former leader who was hospitalised last month in a German hospital, is expected to be back Friday.
