French intelligence chief visits Nigeria over terrorism

General Christophe Gomert the Director military intelligence french
ministry of defence has visited Nigeria over the imperative of
intelligence sharing in the global fight against terrorism and Boko
Haram.

General Gomert made this known today during a meeting with the
Nigerian Chief of Defence Intelligence Air Vice Marshal Monday Morgan
at the Defence Intelligence Headquarters in Abuja.

Gomert who said this is his first time visiting Nigeria which is a
follow up to a meeting in Dakar on the importance of intelligence
sharing on the activities of Boko Haram terrorist in the region.

Commenting the Chief of Defence Intelligence Air Vice Marshal Morgan
stated that combating terrorism requires collaborative efforts in
intelligence sharing to end the menace of terrorism.

He also sympathized with the people of France and Paris over the
recent terrorist attacks in the French capital.
