The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians as they mark the celebration of Eid-Ul-Adha, and urged citizens to keep supporting the President Bola Tinubu-led government.
In a statement issued to commemorate the festival on Friday, Adelabu urged Nigerians to continue supporting President Bola Tinubu’s administration.
Adelabu described Eid-Ul-Adha as a significant occasion that reflects the values of sacrifice, love, and obedience.
“I extend heartfelt congratulations to my fellow Muslim faithful on this joyous Eid-Ul-Adha,” he said.
The Minister said the festival is a time to embrace unity and care for others.
“This sacred festival calls us to reflect on the core values of compassion, kindness, and generosity towards all, especially those in need and the less privileged within our communities,” he stated.
Adelabu also called on Nigerians to remain hopeful and committed to national development by supporting the policies of the current administration.
“As we celebrate, let us also keep faith in President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering determination to deliver on his Renewed Hope Agenda for our nation,” he urged.
Eid-Ul-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is one of the most important events in the Islamic calendar. It commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice in obedience to God and highlights the values of submission and devotion.
