Gunmen bandits have reportedly attacked ECWA and Catholic churches in Bakinpah-Maro community of Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State and abducted a pastor with over 31 worshippers.
The attack which took place on Sunday, also left three (3) persons dead.
Former chairman of Kajuru LGA of Kaduna State, Cafra Caino, confirmed the incident, saying that over 30 persons were kidnapped from the churches in the community.
Caino disclosed this to newsmen on phone in Kaduna.
According to him, the bandits arrived l the community at about 10am in large numbers, and began to shoot sporadically targeting the ECWA and Catholic Churches in the community.
“A pastor of one of the churches identified as Bernard Gajera, was among those kidnapped by the hoodlums.
Efforts to reach the Kaduna State command Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) ASP Munsir Hassan proved abortive.
