According to Indian-born human rights activist and NHRF President/ Founder, Dr. Shafeeq Shahul Hameed, the initiative aims to recognize the role of intelligence in shaping both individual and collective futures by fostering analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and self-improvement.

He said, “This decision was made to highlight the importance of intelligence in shaping individual and collective futures, promoting critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills, while encouraging lifelong learning, self-improvement, and intellectual curiosity.”

He further explained that NHRF has outlined several objectives for International Intelligence Day, including “Recognizing the significance of intelligence, promoting critical thinking and innovation, encouraging lifelong learning as well as fostering a culture of creativity and intellectual curiosity.

To mark the occasion, NHRF announced plans to observe International Intelligence Day with a series of events and activities, including conferences, workshops, and competitions.

“These events will promote intellectual discussions, debates, and innovation while recognizing individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the advancement of intelligence,” Dr. Hameed added.

The Federation also called on governments, educational institutions, and organizations worldwide to participate in the celebration, stressing that by acknowledging the importance of intelligence, society can become more informed, innovative, and progressive.
