After ten years of separation and public dispute, Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh and her son, King Andre, have reunited with her ex-husband, businessman Olakunle Churchill, in an emotional meeting described the elated father as a “divine restoration.”
Dikeh said the reconciliation was primarily for the well-being of their son.
She shared footage of Andre’s first meeting with his father in a decade on Instagram, showing the pair embracing warmly.
The meeting also included Nigerian Pentecostal pastor Jerry Eze, founder of Streams of Joy International and convener of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD).
“This is grace speaking and hearts for Jesus obeying. Time failed. Grace prevailed. Time could not cancel what God ordained.
“Restoration has a voice, and today it spoke. To my spiritual father, Papa Jerry Eze, you will never see a better yesterday. Thank you for your unwavering submission to God’s call. Through you, God transformed who I once was into the woman I am becoming. A strong woman, grounded, and full of His grace. May God continually reward you beyond words. What God can’t do doesn’t exist,” Dikeh wrote.
Churchill also described the reunion as a “divine restoration,” saying both parties had put past differences behind them and were now prepared to co-parent amicably.
The ace actress revealed that the breakthrough came during a 21-day fasting and prayer program at her church.
According to her, she endured a decade of hardship raising her son while under public scrutiny and highlighted that Churchill eventually released her son’s international passport, marking a key step in their reconciliation.
In 2017, Dikeh confirmed the end of her marriage on Rubbin’ Minds, citing domestic abuse and infidelity.
She alleged that Churchill had an extramarital relationship with his personal assistant, Rosy Meurer, and linked him to cyber fraud.
In response, Churchill took legal action, including filing a N500 million lawsuit against Dikeh in 2019 and petitioning the then Inspector-General of Police over alleged forgery and unlawful sale of his Toyota Prado SUV.
Despite their separation, Churchill moved on and later introduced Rosy Meurer as his wife in 2021.
The recent reconciliation now signals a fresh start for both parties, focusing on co-parenting their son and moving past their decade-long public feud.
