Veteran Nigerian TV host Frank Edoho has declared that he is done with romantic commitments, insisting he will remain single going forward.
Edoho made the statement in a post on his X (formerly Twitter) account while responding to a user who asked about his relationship status.
In the post, he confirmed that he is currently single and stressed that he has no plans to enter into any committed relationship again.
“Yes. I have had my share. Never getting committed again. Ever,” he wrote.
In a follow-up post, the host of the once popular and now defunct TV show Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, said some men who forgive cheating partners often end up regretting it.
According to him, such forgiveness can lead to continued infidelity and resentment in relationships.
“If a wife cheats and she asks her husband to forgive her and he does, she will not only continue cheating but she will also resent the man for forgiving her and disrespect him in extreme ways until he gets the ultimate message, she checked out of the marriage way before she cheated,” he added.
Edoho, who had a tempestuous marriage, was previously married to broadcaster Katherine Obiang, with whom he has three children.
The union ended in 2010 after about seven years.
At one point, he was accused in reports of domestic violence during the marriage, claims which he strongly denied.
The ace broadcaster dismissed the allegations, insisting he was never a violent partner.
