The Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has launched a television campaign series highlighting the achievements of President Bola Tinubu’s administration in the aviation sector ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The 30-second television production, tagged Tinubu Aviation Revolution Series, is scheduled to begin airing on major television stations on November 1 and will run until a few days before the presidential election.

The initiative is among the first campaign communication activities undertaken by Keyamo since his appointment as Director of the Directorate of Air Transport Mobilisation under the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign Council (APC PCC).

The directorate is responsible for coordinating and facilitating air transportation for authorised campaign activities in support of Tinubu’s re-election bid.

According to a press statement issued on Saturday by Tunde Moshood, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the minister, Keyamo mobilised his team to produce the campaign material as part of efforts to showcase the administration’s record in the aviation sector.

Moshood said the television series was designed to offer Nigerians a concise and accessible account of what the administration considers significant progress in the sector.

He also disclosed that the production had been fully paid for ahead of its scheduled broadcast.

The statement said the series would highlight the contributions of aviation to economic growth, tourism, trade, investment and international connectivity, while presenting developments in the sector as part of the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

The campaign is expected to draw attention to the government’s aviation policies and interventions as the ruling party intensifies efforts to communicate its performance to Nigerians ahead of the 2027 general election.

Keyamo’s involvement also places the aviation minister among serving members of the Tinubu administration who have taken up specific responsibilities within the APC’s re-election campaign structure.
