Three months after being sworn in for his second term in office, Abia
State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has sent the list of his
commissioner nominees to the State House of Assembly.
Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu, in a press
statement, said the governor sent has a 24 man list, comprising 22
males and 2 females, as commissioner nominees, to the State Assembly,
for confirmation.
The nominees are; Rt. Hon. Eziuche Ubani; Prof. Ikechi Mgbeoji; Dr. Aham
Uko; ex Deputy Speaker, Cosmas Ndukwe; Engr. Solomon Ogunji, Barr.
Hagler Okorie; Sir Gabriel Onyendilefu; Barr. Ekele Nwaohanmuo; Prince
Ikedi Ezekwesiri Ananaba; Hon. Chijioke Madumere; Hon. Theophilus
Ugboaja; Engr. Emma Nwabuko; and Mrs Uwaoma Olewengwa.
Others include ; Chief Ikpechukwu Onuoha; Dr. K.C.K. Nwangwa; Hon.
D.K. Uduma; Hon. Chimaobi Ebisike; Dr. Joe Osuji; Barr. Suleiman
Ukandu; Mr. Onyema Wachuku, Chief Emeka Ikwuagwu ,Mrs Ukachi Amala;
Prince Dan Okoli and Mr. John J. Okoro.
Ubani , Mgbeoji and Uko were members of the immediate past state
executive council. Chief John Okiyi Kalu and Barr. Uche Ihediwa, were
two months ago, confirmed by the House as Commissioners for information
and Strategy and Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice,
respectively.
