In the latest posting and redeployment of the Assistant Inspector-General of Police ordered by the IGP Usman Alkali Baba, a total of 17 officers from the North dominated the exercise out of a total number of 24.
Meanwhile the South-East was fortunate to have at least one slot, AIG John Amadi who is posted to Maritime, Lagos. South-West and South-South also got three slots each.
In a statement issued by Force Public Relations Officer, CP Frank Mba, the statement read, “In line with the new Manpower Development Policy of the Force, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc (+), NPM, fdc, has ordered the posting and redeployment of twenty-four (24) Assistant Inspectors General of Police (AIGs) to Zonal Commands and Formations as indicated below:
