I have what it takes to rebuild PDP-Dokpesi

by Our Reporter
Business mogul and Politician, Chief Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi has said that
he has what it takes to turn around the fortunes of the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) if allowed to take charge of it as the next National
Chairman.

Dokpesi said he has been around awhile to know the ingredients needed to
rebuild the party and bring it back to winning ways.

The Founder and Chairman emeritus of Daar Communications Plc, stated this
as he flagged off his nationwide campaign tour for the coveted seat of
the National Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from his own home
town and ward in Agbenebode.

Dokpesi's first port of call was the palace of Okumagbe, Weppa Wanno, Dr.
GEORGE Oshiapi Egabor (Omoaze 1).

He's accompanied by close friends, colleagues and political associates
from different parts of the country, prominent amongst whom is Senator
Kasim Oyofo.

Dokpesi informed the royal father about his intention to take over the
leadership of PDP, asking for his blessings as he begins the race for the
top job.

"We're here for your blessings.
"I am confident that by your pronouncement and by the grace of God, the
position of PDP chairman is guaranteed".

After pioneering and successfully running the first private radio and TV
stations in Nigeria, Dokpesi, a trained first class Marine engineer is
leading the Change that would breath fresh life into his party, PDP, after
the upset of losing majority in 2016.

Dokpesi believes he has what it takes to rebuild PDP from scratch, having
been around long enough, operating from the backdoor.

Dokpesi now has his eyes on PDP's top job, sharing the visions of the
party's founding fathers.

But what inspires him more is a desire to reshape and redefine leadership
in his country.

It's the same desire that would now drive him across the length and breath
of Nigeria in next two weeks; reaching out to party leaders and delegates
and hoping to convince them to leave the party in his care.
